The Business and Management Certificate of Higher Education programme provides critical thinking and research skills, as well as an understanding of organisations and the business environment. This is a standalone qualification. Alternatively, students may wish to utilise it as an entry route to complete two additional years for a degree qualification. You will learn about management elements and global external influences on organisations. You will have the opportunity to apply creative thinking to contemporary issues in business and management. You will also learn to reflect on your professional development and to set goals and objectives as a lifelong learner. You will develop skills and behaviours which will benefit you in the professional world, such as numeracy, team work and communication skills.

To apply for this course, one of the following academic qualifications is required:
3 A-Levels with grades CDD or equivalent (80 UCAS tariff points)
BTEC Extended Diploma with grades Merit, Merit, Pass
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with an overall score of 32
T-Level with an overall grade Pass (A* - C equivalent)
Access to HE Dip 60 credits (45 at Level 3 at Merit or above)
ATHE Level 3 diploma with 120 credits
Completion of a relevant foundation year programme in a recognised institution with 120 credits.
European qualifications:
Applicants with European qualifications are welcome to apply. Please note that the qualification will be assessed by our Admissions Team in order to verify its UK equivalency.
All qualifications must have been achieved within no more than five years of the course commencement date.
Alternative route of entry:
Suitability for this programme is not exclusively limited to academic qualifications and may be demonstrated through relevant professional experience which showcases transferable skills and knowledge.
All applicants are required to demonstrate English proficiency above the B2 level of the Common European Framework (CEFR). A wide range of academic English qualifications and English tests are accepted as evidence of an applicant’s language ability, which include:
GCSE English Language grade 4/C or above
IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in each component
Level 2 Functional Skills Qualification in English
Duolingo English Test: 105 level overall, with no less than 95 in each component

In the portfolio, applicants should clearly evidence and explain the reasons they wish to study their chosen subject and how they believe their studies can positively impact their lives in the future.
